Vehicle Description: 1960 Jaguar XK 150. This car has gone through an exhaustive restoration that took over a year with no expense spared. The car drives extremely good exactly the way the car was designed to perform. The 3.8 L engine has been carefully restored to orginal condition, including new motor mounts, rebuilt carbs etc., and the engine is mounted to a 4 speed gearbox with electric overdrive. This is one of 581 drophead convertibles manufactured in 1960. According to the former owner, the car is believed to have 52,000 miles and has a Jaguar Heritage Certificate No. 7457. In 2008 a full restoration was completed and paint was removed down to bare metal while all parts were removed and painted by a master repainter who has been in the business for over 25 years. All chrome has been rechromed as well as installing a new windshield. All of the interior has been replaced with every attention to detail, including the dash, along with replacing the speedometer which now shows a little over 700 miles that was actually driven after restoration was completed. A new top was installed along with a wool interior liner which conforms to original equipment. Health forces sale of this automobile, which is in such good condition it could be driven anywhere.
